Settlers Inn started in 1993 by Tom and Joan Dorsey. Tom, a manufacturing engineer , and Joan a registered dietitian, wanted to provide a place for high quality, nutritious, home cooking. They first opened as a full service restaurant and tavern in a renovated historic building in downtown Cedarburg. As the demand for their food increased they expanded to include catering. One year later a deli and bakery were added. We are a family owned and operated business. We are a part of the community having raised our three children in Cedarburg. All our children and Tom’s parents have worked in the business over the years. The deli offers carryout sandwiches, soups, salads, and entrees. Pick up a frozen chicken pot pie to bake at home. In the bakery try 10 in. deep dish pies. We have fresh selections daily or ready to bake in the freezer. Try handrolled and decorated sugar cookies, dessert bars, layer cakes, cheese cakes, and quick breads. Our restaurant is open Tuesday thru Saturday for lunch. Many interesting sandwiches and salads are offered including our soups and desserts. Full bar. Catering is available 7 days a week for business or home.
